Why do we use Acupuncture to aid conception?

Over the last few years an emerging evidence base has shown the benefit of acupuncture in assisted conception, and we at 92 Harley Street are keen to follow up on this in order to provide every chance of success for our patients undergoing fertility treatment.

Apart from the huge patient demand for acupuncture during the IUI/IVF, for which we have developed a tailored programme, we have observed our patients asking for additional emotional support during the few weeks or months proceeding or subsequent to the treatment.  For the people who experience minor side effects of the medication we prescribe, we are also keen to provide an additional support which can help them sail through the process to a positive conclusion.

We also wish to enable natural conception to happen if possible, and so we provide a three month preparatory package which looks at diet and lifestyle in addition to the support to hormonal health.  This package can be tailored to suit both men and women.
