Elaine Tickle trained at the University of Liverpool, where she qualified in 1996. Elaine then served in the Royal Navy for 2 years, developing an interest in Occupational Health medicine, before completing General Practice training in North West Wales. Her training concentrated on Elderly Care Medicine, Trauma, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After qualifying as a General Practitioner, Elaine moved to Bristol where she worked as an NHS General Practitioner. During this time, she specialised in stress related illnesses and sexual health medicine, completing the Diploma in Family Planning. Elaine believes in offering a patient centred service, allowing time to explore her patients’ concerns and expectations, before working with them to reach a diagnosis, offer treatment or refer on for further care. A recent position as a company doctor has re-ignited her interest in Occupational Health medicine and she will be offering these services, as well as General Medical Services, at 92 Harley Street.
