Miss Jackson is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She holds an NHS consultant position at The Hillingdon Hospital, where she has been since 2001. She holds private practice outpatient clinics at 92 Harley Street and The Bishopswood Hospital, Northwood.
Miss Jackson undertook her pre-clinical training at Churchill College, Cambridge University, before moving to Oxford University for Clinical Medicine. She completed her undergraduate training at the John Radcliffe Hospital, qualifying in 1991. Post-graduate specialist training was in North-west Thames, mainly at Queen Charlottes Hospital, but with a year’s exchange post to Johannesburg South Africa.
Obstetrics training included research into prediction of pre-eclampsia, as well as training in Obstetric Ultrasound, culminating in the Advanced Diploma of Obstetric Ultrasound from the RCOG/RCR. Miss Jackson is also accredited with the Fetal Medicine Foundation. As well as routine antenatal care, she has a special interest in multiple pregnancies and high risk obstetrics.
Miss Jackson is also a general gynaecologist, and has a weekly gynaecology clinic and operating list in her NHS practice. She is trained in endometrial ablation techniques and Level 2 laparoscopic procedures and has an interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome. She is happy to offer routine gynaecology check-ups and cervical smears.
