Fertility and Assisted Reproductive Treatment
We offer a full range of infertility investigations and treatments to the widest group of patients – yet in spite of this, waiting lists are short. Treatments ranging from simple ovulation induction with clomid and ultrasound cycle monitoring, through intrauterine insemination, IVF, ICSI, blastocyst transfer and assisted hatching are available. New developments such as gentle IVF, elective single embryo transfer, and egg freezing are all offered. Our embryology team operate one of the most successful embryo freezing programmes in the country. Our scientific team at the Hammersmith Hospital pioneered preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and we also offer experimental treatments such as preimplantation genetic screening of embryos for aneuploidy.
Typically most investigations can be performed within two to three weeks of consultation and treatments can be commenced within four weeks of listing. Once accepted, you will need to attend a pre-treatment appointment, when your treatment protocol will be discussed with you in detail and all information and consent forms will be given to you at the same time.
Consultations and initial monitoring with ultrasound and blood tests are all performed at 92 Harley Street. The surgical procedures are performed in our unit at the Hammersmith Hospital, where you will benefit from first class medical facilities, with the reassuring back up from one of London’s finest teaching hospitals. In addition, our laboratory services at the Hammersmith are HFEA inspected and one of the very few IVF laboratories in the United Kingdom accredited with the quality management system ISO 9001. High quality medical staffing and a dedicated nursing helpline mean we are readily available to answer queries and emergency cover for evenings and weekends is also available. Follow up consultations and pregnancy scans are both performed at 92 Harley Street.
