Mr Andrew Mc Carthy is a Consultant Obstetrician at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital.  He is a specialist obstetrician with an interest in high-risk obstetrics and obstetric medicine.  He has a very busy clinical practice and sees mothers with a variety of problems ranging from difficult obstetric and delivery histories to medical disorders such as diabetes, lupus, and blood clotting problems.  He sees patients at 92 Harley St, and in Sainsbury Wing outpatients in Hammersmith Hospital.  All his deliveries are conducted on the main delivery suite at Queen Charlotte’s, which a fully equipped and well-staffed delivery suite, with excellent back-up services.  He has published on many aspects of maternity care including medical disorders and Caesarean delivery.
